The KARA ATMACA Project was initiated to meet the Turkish Land Forces Command’s requirement for surface-to-surface cruise missile. The KARA ATMACA Weapon System is a long-range, land-based cruise missile launched from a tactical wheeled vehicle. It is designed for against strategic ground targets and features jam resistance, an Imaging Infrared (IIR) seeker, and a high-explosive blast-fragmentation warhead.
