The project aims to develop and produce the portable Early Warning Radar System (ALP-300G) with domestic capabilities to meet the requirements of the Turkish Air Force Command. The contract was signed with ASELSAN Inc. and entered into force in August 2016.
The ALP-300G system is capable of detecting and tracking air-breathing targets such as aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and cruise missiles. Integrated on tactical wheeled vehicles, the radar provides rapid deployment and redeployment capability in operational environments.
In addition to meeting the long-range radar requirement independently, the system also serves as the search radar in the SIPER Air Defence System.
