The HÜRJET Advanced Jet Trainer Project was launched to enhance the indigenous product development capability of Türkiye’s defence industry and to meet the jet trainer requirement with domestic resources. Under the project, a jet trainer featuring high maneuverability and equipped with modern avionics systems is being developed. The project aims to strengthen Türkiye’s technological independence in aviation and to deliver a highly competitive product to the international market. As the first manned jet aircraft to be designed and produced indigenously, HÜRJET as a critical foundation for future national air platforms, represents a strategic achievement in Turkish aviation history.
