The project aims to develop Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) Fuel Cell technology to provide the power required for the ALKA Directed Energy Weapon System (YESS) vehicle to perform its missions. This technology will enhance the system’s target engagement performance by reducing noise and vibration loads, minimize thermal and acoustic signatures that could reveal the weapon system’s position, and deliver a power source that offers volumetric and weight advantages over conventional power supplies.
