Projects aim to develop and deliver national UAV systems — including mini/micro UAVs, loitering munitions (kamikaze UAVs), and VTOL UAVs — designed for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and target acquisition/destruction missions under day and night conditions. The systems have runway-independent takeoff and landing capability, can engage targets with different types of indigenous munitions, are expendable when required, and possess operational capability at low altitudes. The UAV systems developed under these projects have entered service and are being effectively employed in the field.
